Rivers Round Charity Golf Day and Gala Dinner
The Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club proudly hosts the annual Rivers Round Charity Golf Day and Gala Dinner.
The event kicks off with a casual lunch on the deck, leading into the golf tournament which begins with a shotgun start. After the golfing, attendees can relax with a variety of refreshing drinks, setting the tone for the evening gala.
The gala dinner features a three-course meal and a selection of wines, complemented by both live and silent auctions. The evening's entertainment includes a lively dance floor and live music. Jack Heverin returns as the Master of Ceremonies, building on his successful engagement from the previous year. More information about him is available here.
The event supports the Reid Foundation's collaboration with Ronald McDonald House Charities Vic/Tas. Participation goes beyond enjoyment; it's a meaningful gesture to aid families with seriously ill children. Rivers Round 2023
With a turnout of 100+ guests, the Reid Foundation managed to raise $36,897.00 for RMHC, equivalent to covering 230 nights of stay for families with seriously ill children at Ronald McDonald House.
Rivers Round 2024
With a turnout of 100+ guests, the Reid Foundation managed to raise $40,090 for RMHC Vic/Tas.
Across the two events, we were able to raise a total of $76,897 in less than a year. The impact of this support is substantial, providing 480 nights of accommodation for families in need, at a cost of $160 per night.
